This year the regional Lanex Cup (Bohemian section) in difficulty climbing of children and youth started on Saturday January 17 in Beroun (20 km western from Prague) on the wall in the hall of HO Lokomotiva Beroun with international participation.

The routes were set by Petr Resch from Beroun and international participator was a Hungarian team that gained three medals. Hungarians played role in the super final of boys category C (1991-92). In the super final two Hungarian Domotor Széll and Csaba Széll were over climbed by the Czech Martin Sifra (Sportsystem Lanskroun). In the route, which was as well, a final route for the older categories he climbed so far that he would be the third from the boys overall, after the first Libor Hroza and second Vilem Chejn (HOM Alpin IV) from category E.
The prizes were given by Lanex and co organizers with Petr Resch were members of Prague youth climbing club HOM Alpin IV lead by Ladislava Bimboska Bimova.

It was really a great pleasure to participate in this Beroun Lanex Cup competition, as usual. All the three members of our Hungarian "twin" team enjoyed it very much. Since being a technical manager or something similar of the Hungarian Climbing Kids, it would have been better to be there in person. But I had to stay at home with my sick little daughter, who is a competitor as well. Next time all of us will come to meet these friendly young climbers, I hope.
Many thanks for the possibility to Bimboska, Petr, Houmy and Standa. Special thanks for the photos.

Hi Gabor,
Thanks to your team for coming and making the competition as the international event.
And your kids were very good in climbing and had among our climbers serious respect. And they made friends there too. It was cute to see my 4,5 years old daughter trying to taught them some very difficult Czech words. Then I watched them playing each other without any troubles with language barrier. I must emphasize that we were really happy that you come and our impression of your team was excellent. And we look for to meet you and your kids on the other competitions.
