Ostbayern

A new guidebook

Tired of the crowds of screaming children, blocked routes and parking problems of the Frankenjura?  Fingers weary of pulling liestone pockets?  Want some tranquility and open views to accompany your climbing day? You only have to head a couple hours south to the Bavarian Wild to get your fill.

A unique landscape, metamorphasized granite rock, good protection and climbing opportunities for any skill are the main ingredients of the East Bavarian crags.

The Bavarian Forest has been a favorite of Czech climbers for years now (it is closer and more in nature), and many were looking forward to this unique guidebook since the old one was out of date and this area has passed a period of big development. We all were also curious about new crags hidden deep within the forest.

You know, in Europe we dont care what climbers are wearing, we care what they climb.
