Premiere of film Piskari (Sandmen), bigwall expert from Calalunia Sílvia Vidal and more of climbing movies, guests and actions is scheduled on this year Festak, that is the 29th International Mountaineering Film Festival (MHFF- nicknamed Festak), that begins next Thursday.

Besides the film Piskari - about 40 years of trad climbing in Czech sandstones - there are other climbing films on the schedule.
About the mountaineering and getting old is Polish film  Deklaracja nieśmiertelności (Declaration of Immortality).

The Fastest Man on the Mountain is the name of the Swiss film with Ueli Steck solos speed climb in Alps,  Yosemites and Himalayas.

EC Rocktrip 2011 is report from the Czecch local climbing and bouldering competition on the Czech local rock.  Trailer:


Grand Libre au grand Cap (High Difficulties at Grand Capucin) about Arnaud Petit and Stéphanie Bodet tries free climb  rout on Grand Capucin that is 450 m long and 8b.



Bask climber Iker Pou is the star of the film Iker Pou – Nit de Bruixes. He climbs route for 9a+ in Margalef, v in Catalunia. The film:


Iker Pou figures in the another film that names Pou Brothers: Pan Aroma Expedition about ascent of the route Pan Aroma, in Italian Alps (8c/500m) on Cima Ovest, Tre Cime di Lavaredo.
