World Cup in speed and lead climbing 2016 Chamonix, France
Czech Libor Hroza got silver medal on the World Cup speed climbing competition in Chamonix, France today. Other Czech Jan Kriz finished on 6th place. Czech girl Gabriela Vrablikova finished 27th in the semifinals of lead climbing competition there.
For Libor Hroza it is 3rd silver medal this year. An therefor he is the number one in the world speed climbing rankings.
Today Marcin Dzienski from Poland won the speed climbing competition, and Reza Alipourshena from Iran was 3rd.
The finals of speed on Monday was postponed because of raining. But there was rain also today in Chamonix.

The record of the speed finals:
"Thanks to good qualification I climb on the beginning on the left route, but the right route was horribly wet," Libor wrote us just after the competition.
So the wetness involved the results? "Yes, sure it has involved, the lower parts of both routes were wet, bt the right one was worse! I am glad I could keep the 2nd place from the qualification."

What do you plan further, competitions, rocks ...? I am concerning now to the World Chamionship, I would like be there on the top of fitness shape. And after the season I perhabs get to the rocks in Rifle.

Another Czechs woman Lenka Slezáková finished on Moday qualification on the 30. place. From men the best Czech was Martin Jech, who finished 67th, other was Tomáš Binter 75th and Jakub Dvořák 78th.
In the lead Slovenian Domen Skofic and Janja Garnbret won, in women speed French Anouck Jaubert won.
