Czech climber Klara Polackova climbed yesterday Mount Everest.
Klara and Sherpa Tashi Tenzing reached the summit via the North regular route.
Last year the pair climbed Cho Oyu. Tashi Tenzing is the grandson of Tenzing Norgay.
Klara Polackova is for sure the first Czech women to summit. The previous ascent by Renata Chlumska is debated because of her nationality, because she has Swedish citizenship. More on:
