The Czech Mountaineering Association announced the results of Ascents of the year 2024 yesterday at the International Mountain Film Festival in Teplice nad Metují. Here is an overview:

Adam Ondra, Bon Voyage, 9a trad, Annot, France. Probably the most difficult traditional route in the world. Climb of the Year with a star

Marek Holeček, Ondrej Húserka, Climb of the Year In Memoriam. Ondra's Star, Langtang Lirung 7227 m, Nepal.

Jana Švecová, Supertussi Low, 8B+, RP, first female ascent. Overall, the boulder has three ascents.
