Czech Oliver Hamerský finished second yesterday evening in the European Cup ice climbing competition in Brno. Aneta Loužecká was fourth in the final, Matyáš Lienerth seventh. The rest of Czech team finished in the qualifying round:

Tereza Sukačová 12th, Vojtěch Novozámský 23rd, Jindřich Nebojsa 36th, Jan Mikel 38th, Táňa Vrtíková 43rd, Ondřej Novozámský 44th, Anna Daniela Šťastná 45th, Vít Orava 49th, Martin Vacek 74th, Vojta Macek 71st.

The winners were Jonathan Arthur Brown from Switzerland and Catalina Shirley from the United States.
