In the first race of the 2026 Ski Mountaineering World Cup in Courchevel, France, Eva Matějovičová was the best competitor from Czechia, finishing 30th in Thursday's sprint. She performed well in the qualification, finishing 5th. She came 2nd in the elimination heat, but did not advance due to a 30-second penalty for losing a pole.

Czech other competitors in the sprint finished as follows: Marek Foltýn 45th, Josef Nakládal 55th, Filip Matějovič 59th, and Ondřej Souček 62nd.

Yesterday, the vertical race took place, in which Czechs finished as follows: Filip Matějovič 64th, Marek Foltýn 69th, Josef Nakládal 73rd, and Ondřej Souček 79th.
