The Youth Ski Mountaineering World Cup held a race in Berchtesgaden, Germany, last week, where Marek Foltýn was the Czech best performer, finishing 10th in the U20 individual category.

The competition included all disciplines – sprint, individual, and vertical – and Czechia was represented by an all-male team.
In the U20 category, Marek Foltýn scored particularly well, finishing 12th in the sprint, 16th in the vertical and 10th in the individual. Ondra Souček also did well in the sprint, taking 17th place.
In the U18 category, Franciszek Jopek came 12th in the sprint, 20th in the vertical and 16th in the individual.
