The best Czech result at the weekend's Youth Ski Mountaineering World Cup in Surnadal, Norway, was achieved by Marek Foltýn, who finished sixth in Sunday's individual race in the U20 category.In the individual competition, František Jopek finished 10th in the U18 category, while Šimon Souček took 17th place. In the U20 category, Josef Nakládal (24th) and Ondřej Souček (26th) rounded out the Czech results. Saturday's program featured the vertical discipline, which took place outside the ski resort on a 3.4 km long track with an elevation gain of 520 meters. In the U20 category, Marek Foltýn finished in 18th place, Josef Nakládal was 22nd, and Ondřej Souček was 32nd. In the U18 category, František Jopek finished in 16th place and Šimon Souček finished in 20th place.
