Czech Aneta Loužecká won the bronze medal in speed climbing at yesterday's World Cup ice climbing competition in Edmonton, Canada. Jan Mikel finished 21st in the speed climbing qualification round.

In the difficulty discipline, Aneta Loužecká advanced to the semifinals from 13th place in the qualification round. Oliver Hamerský also advanced to the next stage, finishing 12th in the qualification round. Jan Mikel finished 26th in the difficulty discipline. The difficulty competition continues today.
