The first WC competition in difficulty (lead) as well as the second competition in speed climbing took place in Bulgarian Veliko Tarnovo with around 100 participating climbers.

The Czech Champion Tomáš Mrázek succeed today and continues to finals in lead (difficulty) climbing competition of the World Cup in Veliko Tarnovo
Tomáš Mrázek climbed 2x 8b+ in OS style last week. It was the route Karisma 8b+, 30 metres endurance route in Misja Pec, Osp, Slovenia, with boulder on the begining. The 2nd route names Bastila, and as well it is long and endurance ones.

On April 16 a Czech climber Martin Minarik reached the summit of 8200 m Cho Oju. His expedition contains only him and his Sherpa cook.
