Czech František Rys finished 7th today in the qualifying round for the World Para Climbing Championships in Seoul, South Korea, failing to advance to the finals. Franta Rys has been competing in international para-climbing competitions since last year in the RP3 sports class, in which climbers have significant neurological or physiological limitations but are able to climb "normal" routes in the 7a to 8b classification.
