The 20th anniversary edition of the international meeting of top mountaineers and partners from the outdoor and tourism sectors will take place on November 28–30, 2025, at the Hotel International in Prague 6.
This year's Prague International Mountaineering Festival 2025 will consist of three parts. Several leading figures in the world of climbing will once again gather in Prague, and their lectures will form one part of the festival program.

In the second part, Safety in the Mountains, specialists from Austria, Slovenia, and Nepal will give lectures on the broad issue of safe movement in the mountains. This year's festival will once again feature the Banff Mountain Film Festival and screenings of the world's best outdoor films.

The originally agreed and announced Slovenia Day has been canceled. On October 17, 2025, six weeks before the start of this large-scale international event, the organizers of this project, the head of the Slovenian Tourist Board in Czechia and the Slovenian ambassador in Prague, announced that they had failed to fulfill their original agreements and commitments and canceled Slovenia Day.

This was a significant intervention in the already prepared and pre-agreed contracts, unique festival moments, partner connections, and program items of the entire festival. The main organizer of MFA PRAHA 2025, ALPY spol. s r. o., therefore apologizes to everyone for the delay in announcing the standard information and at the same time confirms that the festival will take place as in the past, with broad international participation of partners and speakers from Austria, Slovenia, Italy, and Nepal.
