The Czech Mountaineering Association (ČHS) has announced that it is accepting nominations for the traditional "Climbs of the Year 2025" poll, which recognizes the best Czech mountaineering and climbing achievements of the past season.

Nominations may be submitted for notable achievements by members of the Czech Mountaineering Association across the main categories, which include rock climbing and bouldering, mountains and high mountains, as well as competitive sports such as sport climbing, ski mountaineering, and ice climbing.

Submitted entries will be evaluated by a panel of experts. In the traditional (non-competitive) categories, awards such as “Climb of the Year” may be presented, as well as honorable mentions or special awards, including awards for young talent.

As in previous years, the awards ceremony will take place as part of the International Mountain Film Festival in Teplice nad Metují at the end of August.

As usual, the deadline for submitting nominations is March 31.
