Several top personalities and climbers have confirmed their participation: E.g Alexander Huber (D) and Stephan Siegrid (CH) - now perhabs the most important sport climbers. Both will present unique slideshows and films. Tomaž Humar from Slovenia should come, and Bernd Ritschel (D), Pit Schubert (A), Wolfgang Nairz (A) a Heli Putz(A) confirmed their participation. Zolo Demján from Slovakia and Krystof Wieliczki from Poland will represent the mountaineers.
Also important Czech climbers and mountaineers will be present: Ondřej Beneš, Tomáš Sobotka and Michal Rosecký (Jordan - Jebel Rum), Robin Baum, Jiří Kočara and Vladimír Smrž (ski decent of SE wall of Stredohrot, High Tatras, SK). There will also be interesting speeches from Zd. Hrubý, Vl. Nosek, Pepe Piechowicz, Radek Jaroš and others.
One of the most important European photograpers, Bernd Ritschel, will present his collection of the broadsheet mountains pictures.

Smichov´s Festival of Alpinism continues it's tradition and will take place on 24- 26 November 2006 in Prague, again in The National House in Smichov (Národní dům na Smíchově).
