German elite climber Alexander Huber free climbed the huge overhang- considered by some as the the biggest roof in the world- Baur-Dach (Baur´s Roof), an old aid A3 route on the north face of Cima Ovest, Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Italy. He suggested the difficulty of 8c (11-).

The German web site bergsteiger.de reported. The web marked it as the sensation of sport climbing.

The route leads partly to the left, then on the right side along the old original aid route made by Gerhard Baur and Walter and Erich Rudolph in 1968 via a more than 40 meters long roof.
Huber spent 19 days altogether on the route, including the time he drilled bolts, till July 26th, when he succeeded in the first redpoint.
It is described as a very athletic route via horizontal crimps and holes.
The overhanging roof's length is two pitches, so Alex found a no hand rest in a corner at about 2/3rd of the roof and built there a belay position.
If he suggested the grade of 8c, then it should probably be in similar difficulty as Alex´s first ascent and redpoint of Bellavista, which is a bit left in the roof.
