Slovaks Dodo Kopold and Vlado Plulik summited Gasherbrumu I.
Slovaks Dodo Kopold and Vlado Plulik reached summit of Gasherbrum I (8068 m) today, June 15, 2008. From col between Gasherbrums in altitude (6450m) they climbed via North face in one pace in 16 hours to the top and back.
Dodo Kopold did in 15 days from the comming to BC under Gasherbrums summites of Gasherbrum I (8068 m) and Gasherbrum II (8035 m, by alp style via French pillar on June 9, 2008). Vlado Pulik did not reach GII, he returned there about 300 m under the summit.
They have plane to climb also K2 and Broad peak in the expedition more.
