Climbing World Championship 2009 will be in Qinghai, China
Climbing World Championship 2009 will be in Qinghai, China, IFSC surprised us by another change. The originally the World Championship 2009 was scheduled to Grindelwald, Switzerland.
It was moved for the lack of finance to China, where "apparently" is not lack of money. The event will take place there on 30.6.- 5.7.2009.
The World Cup in Qinghai upcoming on this weekend could be as some provisional try for the next year World Championship.
