The ski mountaineering discipline, which made its debut at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy, ended yesterday with a mixed relay race, preceded by sprints on Thursday. Unlike Slovakia, Czechia did not qualify for ski mountaineering. In the mixed relay, the Slovak pair Marianna Jagerčíková and Jakub Šiarnik finished 11th, and in the sprint, Marianna Jagerčíková finished 11th, Rebeka Cully 16th, and Jakub Šiarnik 18th.

Yesterday's mixed relay final was dominated by French pair Emily Harrop and Thibault Anselmet, who won the first Olympic gold medal in this discipline. Silver went to Swiss pair Marianne Fatton and Jon Kistler, and bronze to Spanish team Ana Alonso Rodriguez and Oriol Cardona Coll.

In the individual sprint races on Thursday, Spain's Oriol Cardona Coll and Switzerland's Marianne Fatton achieved historic victories.

Czech representative Eva Matějovičová attempted to qualify for the Olympics, but failed at the beginning of December in the last qualifying race in ski mountaineering sprint and did not advance to the Games.
