Edita Vopatova, who is 14 years old, is actual the leader of the women's ranking on CzechClimbing.com after her summer climbing trip where she did 2 x 8a PP (both on the 3rd try),

1 x 7c+ PP, 1x 7c+ flash, 7 x 7c PP (mostly on 2nd try), 8x 7b+ OS, 11x 7b OS.

She visited Arco, Frankenjura, Tarn and Ceuse on the trip.

Her wish was to climb 7c OS but she still has not succeeded yet. Besides limestones areas in Europe  Edita likes her home sandstones areas in North Bohemia e.g Tisa, Ostrov and Labak (Labe valley) where she climbed a row of routes to Xa RP.

In spite of the fact that rock climbing is her biggest hobby, and that she trains only rarely on plastic, Edita is trying to gain experience in competitions where she fights with nervousness and awaits for her first big ranking in the European Cup.

In following days she will fly to World Championship of juniors in Equador.
