Kids Climbing Competition of Aggtelek - 2004

The Kids Climbing Competition of Aggtelek will be organized parallel with the XXXIst Aggtelek Cup Climbing Festival. It consists of difficulty climbing on real rock and boulder climbing on artificial wall as follows:
Categories:
children born in 1991-92 category A boy/girl
children born in 1993-94 category B boy/girl
children born in 1995-97 category C boy/girl
Rules:
Difficulty climb:
Qualifying round 2 routes to be climbed on rock in all categories, flash.
Half of the competitors gets into the final, but at least three of them.
Final: 1 route to be climbed on rock, on sight; with superfinal, if necessary and shared first place thereafter.
Time limits will be announced during the technical meeting.
Climbers of category A will lead; category B and C will climb top rope
If the number of those who climbed TOP in both qualifying rounds is more than half of the competitors of a given category, the larger group will participate in the final.
Boulder:
Eight boulder problems have to be solved in 60 minutes, with section points during completion of the route and bonus point for flash-top climbs.
More detailed information will be announced during the technical meeting.

Cup, medal, certificate, material prices.
Registration:
Registration can be done on the spot (next to the entrance of the Aggtelek cave), 21st of August 2004 between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., in the time of registration or in advance (preregistration before 13.08.2004)
Competition fee:
€ 8.00 or HUF 2.000 to be paid at the registration.
In case of preregistration (before 13.08.2004) € 5.00 or HUF 1.250 to be paid at the registration.
Family competition with participation of parents:
Parents of children participating in the difficulty or boulder competition can attend the family competition (one parent in each event)
Events: coke box climbing, rock climbing according to the program.
Results of parents and children in each event will be added (according to the system of competitions) and this gives the final result of the family competition.
Accommodation:
Camping Baradla, in tents (for the competitors - free of charge, during the competition).
