Czech climber Jiri Pelikan was the 5th in the difficulty climbing competition on the UIAA Ice World Cup Final in Hemsedal, Norway, this weekend (4-5 March 2006), the Czech ice climbing coach Martin Vrkoslav said.
Other Czech climbers: Martin Louda was 13th, Jiri Slaby 30th, he reported.
The first were Harri Berger (AUS) and Ines Papert (GER).
33 men and 14 women started there all together.

Final route M10+ was climbed on Sunday morning in -19 C. The Czech team tests ices and trains in Rjukana.
