Libor Hroza, a Czech climber, finished 9th at the World Cup competition of speed climbing in Chamonix (FRA). The other Czech competitor, Jiří Švácha, was 20th. Women: Eliška Karešová 14., Martina Glaserová 18.
There also took place the World Cup competition in lead climbing in Chamonix too, where the only Czechs were girls, Soňa Hnízdilová, who finished 29th place, Kateřina Chudobová, she was 46th and a man Vaclav Malina, who was 68th.

The winners of the fourth round of the Czech Cup in bouldering in Teplice nad Metuji (North-East Bohemia, Czech Republic) today were:
