Winners of the 33rd International mountaineering film festival in Teplice nad Metuji (Adrspach), Nord East Bohemia, Czech Republic. The Grand Prize was given to "K2 Dotknac nieba", by Eliza Kubarska, Poland.
Czech Adam Ondra finished 5th in the finals of the World Cup lead climbing competition in Arco, Italy today. Same as him, another Czech Libor Hroza finished 5th in speed climbing there. The competitions were held during the legendary festival of Rock Master.
Czechs did not succeeded in the qualification in the World Cup competition in lead climbing in Imst, Austria. Domen Škofič (SLO) and Magdalena Röck (AUT) won today.
Czechs Mara Holecek and Ondra Mandula ecaped from Gasherbrum 1
Czech mountaineers Mara Holecek and Ondra Mandula survived dangerous escape from the upper part of the South West Face Gasherbrum I (8068 m) where they tried to make the 1st ascent. They stuck there because of the weather. They spent in the wall 2 weeks and reached 7800 m.
Czech Martin Stráník finished the 17th on the World Cup competition in bouldering in Munich, Germany today. He did 2t4 4b9 result in semifinals. Tomoa Narasaki (JPN) and Miho Nonaka (JPN) won.
Adam Ondra nominted for the Arco Rock Legends again
Adam Ondra has been again nominated for the Arco Rock Legends. The 11th annual sport climbing Oscars will take place on Friday 26 August 2016 during the historic 30th Rock Master climbing competition, the organizers reported yesterday.

Adam Ondra recorded yesterday to his climbing log on our web site several hard ascents in Switzerland and Germany. Hi did Barracuda 11-/11 OS on 22nd July in Kaitersberg, Germany, just behind Czech border and Gimmel Express 8c+ OS in Gimmelwald, Switzerland couple days before.

Czech women Gabriela Vrabliková finished 26th at semifinals of the World Cup competition in lead climbing in Villars, Switzerland today. Libor Hroza finished last night 11th in 1/8 finals of the WorldCup speed climbing there.

Czech Libor Hroza got silver medal on the World Cup speed climbing competition in Chamonix, France today. Other Czech Jan Kriz finished on 6th place. Czech girl Gabriela Vrablikova finished 27th in the semifinals of lead climbing competition there.
