A Czech is said to have died on the north side of Everest
According to unofficial information on everestnews.com, a Czech mountaineer has died on the North side of Mount Everest. It could be Libor Kozák (47) who was reportedly the only Czech in the area.

Prague Mayor Bem delayed on Everest because of bad weather
The Mayor of Prague Pavel Bem intended to reach the summit of Mount Everest on May 8, 2007, but bad weather broke his plan. There was snow, strong wind and avalanche hazard. He tries to set out to the summit on Saturday, May 11, 2007.
The 2nd annual of bouldering meeting and festival Film Boulder Fest 2007 will take place next weekend 12/13 May, 2007 in Loucovice, (granit bouldering area close to Cesky Krumlov, South Bohemia, Czech Republic).

The central theme of this first meeting was to ask how they can, as a community of websites, better serve the community of readers as a whole. Over the course of four days there was constant discussion at the dinner table and while climbing at the local crags. The result was an agreement to form a network of websites working within a set of loose guidelines to better provide readers with up to date news as well as in-depth content.
