3rd Ostbayerische Bouldercup - the international crossregional bouldering competition in the German town Blaibach close to Czech border has been over. On Saturday 16th February 2008 there came 64 men and 18 girls!

Poles successful in bouldering competition in Liberec, CZ
The Polish climbers succeeded on the bouldering competition in Liberec, North Bohemia, Czech Republik, Makak LBC, that took place there on January 26th, 2008.
Adam Ondra climbed yesterday another 9a in Spanish area Santa Linya. The route names Fuck the System, 9a and Adam did it in 3rd try. Adam send the info via sms to his father, who posted it to CzechClimbing.com last night.
Adam Ondra: first ascent Schengen 11- in home Karst (CZ)
In spite of rather not pleasant weather in Central Europe, Czech youngster Adam Ondra has recorded the first ascent of his route 11-, that he had sent the last Saturday (Jan 26, 2008) in home Sloup, the most popular limestone area, in Moravian Karst, close to Brno, (East of Czech).
Slovak top hight altitude mountaineer Dodo Kopold is according to the web site MountEverest.net among the ten (7th place) of the most successful mountaineers of the world in 2007.
Silva Rajfova was 12th and Jiri Pelikan 33rd as the best Czech climbers on the first this year competition of the World Cup in difficulty ice climbing, that took place last week (18.-20.1.2008) in Daone, Italy.
