The next 23rd International Mountaineering Film Festival (also known as Festak) is comming soon. As posters in the taking place - Teplice nad Metují (North-East Bohemia) announce - (look at the photos from the last weekend), the festival will take place there on August 24-27 2006.

According to provisional information there besides the film projections will be again the competition of Czech Cup in bouldering (Saturday August 26), discussions, exhibitions of photos and others sport and music actions.
Polish high altitude mountaineer Piotr Pustelnik, who reached a lot of eight thousand-metre mountains, plans discussion on Sunday August 27 at 10.00 in the local cinema. The famous Czech and Slovak climbers and photographers Pepe Piechowicz (on Saturday 21.00 and Sunday 10.00) and Igor Koller (Saturday 10.00) plan diashows.
