This year the regional Lanex Cup (Bohemian section) in difficulty climbing of children and youth started on Saturday January 17 in Beroun (20 km western from Prague) on the wall in the hall of HO Lokomotiva Beroun with international participation.
Junior Martin Stráník (1990) won on January 17 the competition in difficulty climbing (adults) in Police nad Metují (East Bohemia) Novoroční Open (New Years Open). First brief results:

Isabelle Patissier changed from climbing to Dakar Rallye
The star of climbing competitions, magazines and calendars from the 90th´s Isabelle Patissier (FRA) changed from climbing to car racing and drives this year the famous Rallye Paris - Dakar. Similar as the Czech famous climber Hudy (Jidřich Hudeček) on motorbikes.
The Czech UIAA World Cup competition announced on November 12th to 14th 2004 to Moravian city Brno (East part of Czech Republic) could be held without difficulties,

BoulderMonsters 2 gathered 131 competitors. This was probably the biggest ever competition held in Poland. Most of the participants were Polish, but we had also guests – a 6 people crew from Latvia.

Without Czech participation there was the World Cup competition in Kranj (SLO)this weekend. There were successful Slovak Juraj Repcik in quarterfinal was the 9th, but in the end in seminal he ended the 16th.

Approach: Coming from Budapest, before reaching the centre of the town, by the first lamp turn to left into an ugly area of prefabricated houses. Between them you can find the building of the school. Everyone can show you it, but not sure that everybody speak English, sorry.
