Tomas Mrazek, the World Champion, the winner of the World Cup 2004, and the climber of the year according to the international climbing site 8a.nu has just launched an English version of his new site
Czech Cup competition in bouldering took place in Ostrava last weekend (June 18 2005). Jan Zbranek and Vera Kostruhova won.
Czech Championship in speed climbing took place in Liberec last weekend (Jun 18 2005). Libor Hroza and Eliska Karesova won. There were not only adults but children in theire categories.
Various Czech mainstream media reported that the Czech adventurer and traveller Pavel Trcala, who claims not to be a mountaineer, climbed Mount Everest without the permit from China two weeks ago.
The funeral of Vlada Slouka a.k.a Houmy will take place this Wednesday 15 June 2005 at 3 pm in town Jicin, Eastern Bohemia, Czech Republic.
