climbing 2007
The World Championship 2007 should move from South Spanish Marbella to El Quirinal, Avilés in Asturie on North of Spain at the Bay of Biscay.
The date sustains same September 17-23 2007. The ICC (UIAA climbing) should decide about the change on meeting this weekend, but our foreign cooperator from the web Kairn.com learned from one of the ICC members that the change of the taking place was already sure.
The local Aviles media has already reported last week about the preparation of the World Championship at El Quirinal by Aviles 2007 and the news was monitored by Kairn.com.
The local Aviles media according to Kairn.com wrote, that they expected there on the World Chamionship 500 climbers from 65 countries on the September 2007.
The Czech elite climbers Helena Lipenska and her partner World Champion Tomas Mrazek appreciated the news about the change. They had bad experience from the Marbella World Cup competitions (outdoor conditions - rain, sunshine, problems with organization, small isolation, tiny space for audience etc...) and had good experience from some former Aviles competition.
