Slovak mountaineering personality Ivan Dieška has died
One of the most important personalities of Slovak and Czechoslovak mountaineering, Ivan Dieška has gone. He died yesterday, 10 December 2006, in his age of 65 after a long hard disease.

Climbing in the popular rock area Sulov (close to Zilina, West of Slovakia) is endangered because of alleged breaking of nature protection regulation by climbers.
Except Slovak climbers there were also Austrian competitiors from not far Wiena there today. No competitiors came from Czechia, where Czech Championship in lead has taken place this weekend too.
Today´s one day Championship of Slovakia takes place on Bratislava hall Vertigo during of Weekend of Champions. The weekend would continue tomorrow on Dec 17 2006 by Slovak Championship in drytooling in Bratislava´s center Aupark. Czech participation there is expected.
