in the Czech Republic. Professional and amateur athletes from whole country were competing in bouldering on 2nd annual championship. The organizer had organize a good competition. There were more then 100 boulder problems introduced to the participants in qualification. Of coures the area was brand new and therfore everybody climbed on sight.
The difficulty range varied from 4 s up to 7C+ Fb classification.
There were 70 participants
This year's climbing competition had the ever popular difficulty bouldering and two new events – a Tick tracker competition ( who will catch more ticks) and The Memorial of Martin Čermak ( who is the biggest liar) .

Czech climber Karel Cerny won the Slovak Championship in bouldering, taking place on the last weekend in Slovak city Zilina.

Banff mountain film festival is coming to the Czech Republic for the second time. What would be a better place than Jicin, the gateway of famous sandstone area Cesky Raj.
There was the 2nd competition of European Youth Cup 2004 in difficulty climbing in Imst (Austria) the last weekend. The Czech climber Martin Stranik was the 2nd in his category B. It was after hard superfinal with Austrian climber David Lama.
All lovers of bouldering can take part in the unique competition.
Tomas Mrazek won today the Championship of Czech Republic in difficulty sport climbing in Brno. The best women was Silva Rajfová.
International participation was on the competition in difficulty climbing of youth in Zlate Moravce on Slovakia last Saturday. Except the home climbers from Slovakia even the Hungarian and also Czechs were succesful.
The winners of the competition of Slovakian Cup in the row of international V4 Cup in difficulty climbing (this Saturady Apr 24) were the Czech juniors Jan Zbranek and Silvie Rajfova.
