The International Olympic Committee confirmed yesterday that 3 sets of medals will be prepared for sport climbing at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games, meaning there will be separate competitions in speed, lead and boulder. They announced this on the Czech Olympic Committee's Facebook page.
Adam Ondra: the Prague comp will be my last bouldering World Cup
Adam Ondra is retiring from competitive bouldering at the World Cup. Today, he announced at a press conference that he wants to compete in the World Cup bouldering competition at Letná in Prague from June 6th to 8th for the last time. He wants to focus on world championships in lead climbing, as well as rock climbing, where he is currently focused on the B.I.G. route for 9c in Flatanger, Norway.

Lukáš Mokroluský climbed his first 9a, the legendary Action Directe (11 UIAA) in Frankenjura, Germany, the first route of this difficulty in history by Wolfgang Güllich in 1991.
Radek Votoček climbed his first 9a: the route Senzace on Krkavka
Radek Votoček, who has 14 routes of 8c+ to his credit, half of which he climbed in the last nine months, repeated the route Senzace 9a (11 UIAA) by Adam Ondra on Krkavka near Semily, CZ.

Pepa Šindel has climbed another 9a route: Nid de Fadas
Czech Pepa Šindel (17) has logged another 9a route, the Nid de Fadas line in the Leonidio, Greece. He logged the climb on Lezec.cz and is reporting on it on Instagram. It is Pepa's seventh logged 9a route and he also has one 9a+ in his log.
Adam Ondra flashes another 8B+ boulder and is trying a 9A+
Adam Ondra flashed another 8B+ boulder, the Imothep du sol problem in Fontainebleau, a "standing" variant of the potential 9A+ Imothep Assiss (sitting) project. This achievement follows his recent repeat of the 9A Soudain seul boulder and flashing boulders 8B+ and 8B.
Adam Ondra announced that he managed the flash boulder El Elegido in the Spanish region of La Pedriza, rated 8B+/C. Adam suggested the difficulty level 8B+. "It is possibly the bouldering flash ascent that I value the most, even though I probably can't take the slash grade," Adam said of his achievement. This is his second flash boulder of this difficulty.
