Adam Ondra was granted by the award of the sportsman of Brno (his hometown) mainly because of the recent climbing of Dawn Wall, El Cap, Yosemites. Besides, he was nominated for top 10 athletes of the year in the Czech Republic.

Adam Ondra said good bye to Yosemite in a new video. After the free climb of the Dawn Wall he spent some time with Heinz Zak to take pictures from the wall and because of the coming winter he could not try to climb onsight Salathé Wall. He had the flight home to Czechia for today.

Adam Ondra did the 14th pitch of Dawn Wall on El Capitan in Yosemite, his climbing partner announced on Instagram. Just the 14th pitch stooped Adam day before. Then Adam tried pitch 15. He fell on the last move and he did it later too.
