Climbing World Champion Czech Tomas Mrazek finished his climbing season 2008 after winning of Czech Championship by climbing trip to Spain and spent some "rest" in areas around Llejda.
Snow avalanche in Krkonose (Riesengebirge, North Bohemia, CZ) hit two ski mountaineers, one of them died. EYS: Adam Ondra won in Kranj (SLO) and overall series 2008
Czech Adam Ondra won the last competition of European Youth Series 2008 in lead climbing in Kranj, Slovenia, last weekend in his category (B). Among juniors category the best Czech was Martin Stranik, who finish 3rd in Kranj and ended 2nd overall in the series.
Adam Ondra climbed yesterday another route in the 9a grade: Open Air in Schleier Wasserfall, Austria. He recorded it to his diary on Czechclimbing.com as 9a+.

In spite of weather was not very good, Tomas climbed in St. Linya routes "Analogica natural" 8c+/9a, "Analogica digital" 8c+ and in Gandia 8c on 2nd attempt. His climbing and live partner Helena Lipenska sent "Trio ternua" 8a.
Because of worsening weather they had to leave other hard project. And they plan to return there in February.
