Second wave of via ferrata set recalls within six months
A group of manufacturers issued last month a recall of certain via ferrata sets following a meeting of the UIAA (International Mountaineering and Climbing Federation) Safety Commission in Munich, Germany. A report was published on February 25th, 2013.
"Arev" Armenian First Ascent Festival, which was organized before on June 2009 and May 2011 by our club, intended to develop the rock climbing culture in Armenia, while at the same time promoting climbing at the local rock formations through the development of new routes.
A friend living in France has noticed that a French newspaper is reporting that Patrick Edlinger, one of the great free climbers of the 1980s, has died at age 52.
Czech distributor of Camp via ferrata sets has sent recently the statement that the via ferrata sets by Camp are safe. The statements had reacted on several recalling actions announced by several other producers and distributors after an accident in Alps in Europe this summer.

Petrohrad is situated about 80 km west from Prague.
There are several competitions and another events on the international meeting of boulderers.
