Rock Climbing Championship (bouldering), Ice Climbing competitions - Ice Masters Cup of Russia and other outdoor events are going to be held in Moscow.

On the first days of April, 8-11 the Festival "Sport Activities -
OUTDOOR" welcomes its participants and visitors on the grounds of the
All-Russian Exhibition Centre (VVTs), the most famous exhibition site of
the country. The increasing growth of interest to outdoor sports and
market in Russia attracts the attention of amateurs and professionals.
According to the preliminary calculations, over 25 000 people from all
over Russia will visit the festival.

The festival enables to unite all the people involved in outdoor
activities either sportsmen, consumers, manufactures and distributors.
Within the framework of the festival the following events take place:

·        Rock Climbing Championship (bouldering);

·        Kayak competitions , in the pool  before
the pavilion;

·        Ice Climbing competitions - Ice Masters Cup of Russia;

·        Moscow Bike Trial Cup event;

·        "City Challenge";

·        Skyserfing competitions;

Exibition "Sport Activities - OUTDOOR"

For the first time in the history of the sportive exhibitions in Russia
the Outdoor theme has become independent. The domestic and foreign
manufacturers of the equipment for all the trends in the contemporary
Outdoor will arrange their expositions on one exhibition site (over
5,500 m2). The visitors of the exhibition < Sport Activities - OUTDOOR>
will have the opportunity to see the up-to-date technologies and the
latest developments in all types of the extreme sport, sportive and
amateur tourism, mountaineering, diving and other activities.

The attractive feature of this exhibition will be the with
total square of 1,200 m2 inside the pavilion. The exhibitors can place
their collections of full-size tents, not there models, as usual. The
visitors will be able to evaluate their design and construction
features.

Traditional OUTDOOR expositions will be of much interest as well:

Russian Rock-Climbing Championship (bouldering)

The decision is taken to hold the Russian Rock-Climbing Championship
2004 - Bouldering as a part of the festival "Sport Activities - Outdoor"
on the climbing construction. 



Kayaking

The competitions in "flat water freestyle" is one of the kinds of water
freestyle, the most difficult one! Freestyle in the kayak is the set of
the technically complicated elements in the optional program, which
shows the mastery and technique of the sportsmen. It`s amazing.



Ice-climbing

The competitions will be held on the routes with both fixed and mobile
obstacles. Ice-climbers have to clinch to the rocking rope-hung ice
blocks.



Multi-sport race "City Challenge"

The rout of the race will be laid on the territory of the VVTs and
include various stages: running, bike riding, climbing, water obstacles.



Sky surfing. Sky diving

Sky surfing is one of the most exiting sports. The series of the
acrobatic elements in free flight enchant the audience. The Russian
sportsmen, world champions in this sport, will take part in the show.
Parachute jumps in the city is an outstanding event. The spectators will
see the sky divers flying down with immense speed and maneuvering
between gates. 



Adventure Park

The visitors of the festival get a wonderful possibility to plunge into
the atmosphere of adventures and challenges. The "Adventure park" that
is 3000 ?2  (three thousand square meters!!!) will consist of  different
attractions both on the ground and in the air.  You can see climbing
walls, artificial lianas, pendant bridges, labyrinths and lots more that
comes far beyond your imagination.  Overcoming fear the visitors can
fly, climb, jump, shoot, ride and get unforgettable impressions.



Extreme Film Festival "Terra Incognita"

In the movie pavilion the visitors can see the program of "Extreme Film
Festival" which includes best professional and amateur films about
traveling, adventures, different kinds of extreme sports and sportsmen.
