Ski mountaineering officially begins today as a new Olympic discipline at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano-Cortina in Bormio, Italy, where the sprint is part of today's premiere program. On Saturday, February 21, the second ski mountaineering discipline will be the mixed relay. Czechia is not represented in ski mountaineering. Adam Ondra flashed his second 8C boulder, Lion's Share in Brione, Switzerland. Adam stated on Facebook that it was his "hardest boulder flash ever."
