The nominations have been decided for the 4th edition of the Arco Rock Legends, scheduled to take place on September 4th, 2009 at Arco (Garda Trentino, Italy) on the eve of the XXIII Rock Master. The SALEWA ROCK AWARD and the LA SPORTIVA COMPETITION AWARD, the sport climbing Oscars, are up for grabs.
The last annual of this extraordinar competition took place for the 20th time in the altitude 1450 m. in the small French town (24./25.07.2009). The weather was unusually warm and the finals attracted thousands of visitors.
The 26th annual International Mountaineering Film Festival (also known as Festak) is coming in 4 weeks in Teplice nad Metuji (North-East Bohemia) on August 27-30 2009.

Czech Libor Hroza was the 3rd in speed, his sister Lucie Hrozova in the same discipline was the 8th. Adam Ondra finished 5th in lead climbing.
